UNI, CSTV Networks Launch Broadband Channel That Will Deliver Extensive Content, Hundreds of Live Events



The University of Northern Iowa and CSTV Networks, Inc. have teamed up to create a brand new broadband channel, UNI Panther All-Access. Offering exclusive Panther content, including hundreds of live events and all available games, UNI Panther All-Access is being offered free of charge through Nov. 21.

NEW YORK - The University of Northern Iowa and CSTV Networks, Inc. have teamed up to create a brand new broadband channel, UNI Panther All-Access. Offering exclusive Panther content, including hundreds of live events and all available games, UNI Panther All-Access is being offered free of charge through Nov. 21.

The first audio event of the UNI Panther All-Access will be Fri., Oct. 6, when the UNI volleyball team takes on the Creighton Bluejays at 7 p.m. in Omaha, Neb.

The first video event of the UNI Panther All-Access will be Sat., Oct. 7, when the UNI football team takes on the Missouri State Bears at 4:05 p.m. in the UNI-Dome.

"This all-access channel is a tremendous opportunity for everyone who follows the Panthers to see our games virtually anytime they wish," UNI Director of Athletics Rick Hartzell said. "Given our recent athletic success, we expect that this all-access channel will be a big hit with Panther fans everywhere."

"UNI Panther All-Access" is a "virtual stadium" - a seamless Internet experience - where viewers can follow all of UNI's athletic programs and all the Panther content they desire without ever having to leave. It will be a one-stop-shop for live games, news conferences, features and up-to-the minute scores, news and highlights.

The broadband channel includes programming from the following sports: football, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling and UNI Coaches Shows. Additional UNI audio and video programming will be added in the future as it becomes available.

This new custom web site incorporates the latest in technology and user interaction. UNI sports fans who utilize this best-in-class, easy-to-use platform that will allow them to navigate the channel by sport, news, audio, video and countless other criteria.
