At Long Beach State: Granted a medical redshirt in 2006 ... played in five games in 2007, picking up two hits and an RBI.

JUCO: Spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons at East Los Angeles College, batting .396 as a sophomore with 12 homers and 48 RBIs... batted .362 with 16 homers and 45 RBIs as a freshman and was the first person in ELAC history to win the Big Stick Award in 2005... Junior College All-American and a two-time all-state performer... also named first team all-conference both seasons, earning South Coast Conference MVP honors as a sophomore.
