Was a four-year letterwinner in basketball...averaged 28.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game as a senior...shot 55 percent from the field and 82 percent at the foul line...ended his career eighth all-time in the Iowa high school history in scoring with 2,205 points...team was 93-9 during his four-year career...finished fourth at state as a junior and third at state as a senior...IBCA Class 2A player of the year...two time first-team all-state selection.
