St. Louis, Mo. -

University of Northern Iowa sophomore forward Adam Koch was named to the second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference scholar athlete team, the league office announced today.

 

Koch has started all 30 games at power forward for the Panthers this season, averaging 8.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.  He shot 48 percent from the field and 77 percent at the free throw line this season, scoring a career-high 20 points twice.  He holds a 3.53 cumulative grade point average in Biomedical.

 


 

 

The Panthers face Southern Illinois tomorrow night (Mar. 7) in the quarterfinals of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference tournament.  Tipoff from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo., is 8:30 pm.
