Panther Women Finish Third at Diablo Grande Intercollegiate

The The Panthers were led by junior Heather Frye ( "Molly always comes through for us," said UNI head coach John Bermel. "She really stepped up for us in the last round and pulled out a 76 to make sure we held on to our third place finish. The more pressure she feels the better she performs and that's good to see." "Heather also had a really nice tournament," said Bermel. "She played well for us and you could tell in the practice round that she was hitting the ball solid. Her performance throughout the season is going to really help the team." Sophomore Ann Arnason ( Redshirt Freshman Sabrina Danielson ( "Sabrina played a nice solid tournament this weekend," said Bermel. "I think she was a little nervous after the first round and the conditions were tough, but to come back and shoot a 74 in the second round shows a lot of potential."
